The Honorary Fellow (Hon. FICAL) is the most prestigious recognition conferred by the International Council for Arts and Literature upon distinguished personalities who have made exceptional contributions to literature, arts, education, research, culture, public service, diplomacy, or humanitarian development at national or international levels.

This title is awarded only by invitation or approval of the ICAL Governing Council and carries lifelong honorary recognition.
